These pants feature a beautiful resist-dyed contrast pattern. There are two bondage strap details that begin in the back pockets, winding around the legs on both sides. These jeans are slim straight fit, with a medium rise. While there is a corresponding jacket, they work equally well as a standalone item.

For AW14, Dries Van Noten explored a wide variety of colors and combinations. Dries ventured away from his printed and embroidered fabrics, favoring new combinations of color, dyed to clash with one another. Dip dyed blue trousers were adorned with bondage straps and a corresponding trucker jacket. Other trousers were dyed pastel pink and paired with pearl trimmed shirts.

Resist-dyeing is a globally used technique of applying alternate patterns and colors to fabric. Simply put, a material or substance is placed in certain areas on a fabric creating an impenetrable surface, forcing the dye to permeate around the area, thus creating an effect on the fabric. There are numerous ways to do resist-dyeing, all with different given names across the world.
